CLADDAGH COACHES JOIN PRO TEAMS

Craig Bunker and Nolan Godfrey, shown above at the 2011 USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game in Baltimore last May, were both acquired by Major League Lacrosse teams recently. Bunker finds himself with the Rochester Rattlers while Godfrey joins the expansion franchise Ohio Machine.

HELLRIGEL COMMITS TO WESTERN NEW ENGLAND
(November 10, 2011) Claddagh Select U19 senior defenseman/LSM Brian Hellrigel had an outstanding campaign in the spring of 2011 with his Masconomet HS team, leading them deep into the MA state tournament. He now joins fellow Masconomet and Claddagh Select teammate in making his college commitment. Hellrigel heads to D3 power WNEC. Check out his highlight reel:

Claddagh Select FINISHES UP A SUCCESSFUL SUMMER
(August 15, 2011) Congratulations to Claddagh Select U19 midfielders Jack Callahan '11(High Point), Jake Gillespie '12(Tufts), CJ Moore '11(Mercer) as well as LSM Blake Burkhart '11(Rutgers), LSM/Defenseman Chad Mitchell (uncommitted) and goalie Patrick Shayer '13 (uncommitted) who all made the New England Team Showcase All-Star Game held at Fort Devens on July 2nd and 3rd. Patrick Shayer impressed all the college coaches in attendance with his outstanding play between the pipes. He made save after save with most of the saves coming on the doorstep. Jake Gillespie also played an outstanding game during the All-Star game. Gillespie scored twice with two strong alley dodges. LSM/Defenseman Chad Mitchell showcased his athletic ability during the All-Star game by shutting down one offensive player after another as well as scooping up every ground ball that came in his path.

(May 25, 2011) Congratulations to Claddagh coach, Craig Bunker (Topsfield, Mass.) for being named a USILA First Team All-American.
An alumni of Mascomonet High School and recent graduate of Colby
College, he is now a 3x All American selection, 2 year team captain,
Team MVP and a competitor in the NCAA Division III North - South

UMASS REACHES CAA FINAL THANKS TO CLADDAGH ALUM GOALIE REED GOODHUE
(May 5, 2011) UMASS freshman goalie steps in for starter to help secure the win for the Minutemen. Reed Goodhue, a Claddagh Select alum from Masconomet High School, made a huge save coming in cold after a penalty was called on the starter to help UMASS move even closer to a NCAA tournament bid. We at Claddagh congratulate Reed and the Minutemen for a great season.

MASS COACHING LEGEND GINOLFI JOINS CLADDAGH
(April 4, 2011) One of the most prolific coaches in Massachusetts history has joined the staff for Claddagh. Former Beverly HS head coach Peter Ginolfi comes our way after tallying over 200 career wins at the high school level. After leading Masconomet HS for three seasons, Coach Ginolfi built a winning legacy at Beverly HS. 12 Northeast Conference titles, 9 HS All-Americans, and a MA Division 1 HS State Championship later, Coach Ginolfi will lead our U13 Select this summer and add immense value to many of our other programs.

The team is about to take on national power Don Bosco Prep (NJ) at the Big City Classic at the New Meadowlands Stadium in New Jersey on April 3rd.
